How far in advance of an event should I contact you?

Depending on the type of event, timelines do vary. Large fundraisers, multi-day conferences or reunions are best initiated a year ahead of time but we have done them with much shorter timelines. Smaller conferences and retreats can be planned within months.

Is an Event Planner expensive?

We will stay within your budget. Don’t have a budget in mind? We will work to bring you the best quality, yet economical event possible. We will always keep your best interests in mind. We provide an initial proposal so that realistic expectations are set, and we promise to keep you advised of any and all expenses at all times.

Rest assured - unless you love planning as much as we do, our price will feel more than worth it once you see the end result.

Am I going to lose control of my vision and personal touch if I work with an Event Planner?

We have unlimited ideas for themes, menus, entertainment, speakers. This, however, is YOUR event. You’re the boss – you decide what you want, and our level of involvement. We take care of everything “behind the scenes”, and you get the credit!

Am I tied to using certain suppliers if I work with you?

While we know countless suppliers in Ottawa - and we do have our favourites – we are happy to work with suppliers of your choosing as well. The suppliers we work with deliver top quality, on time, and on budget.
